Our second to last day of the 2024 #wiscogolfaddict boyne.golf trip was spent at boyne.mountain in #BoyneFalls #Michigan
This was the part of #BoyneGolf I knew the least about going into the trip, and I think I speak for all of us when I say we were all incredibly impressed with the quality of golf (and conditioning - WOW!) as the #Alpine and #Monument courses meandered through the resort’s mountainous landscape.
Like at all #Boyne #golf properties, the use of elevation on these courses was incredibly impressive, as well.
The Alpine and Monument courses are probably the tightest in the destination’s portfolio, but far from unfair helping make Boyne what I’d consider to be the Midwest’s most underrated golf destination.

Boyne Mountain’s popular Yoga in the Sky sessions are being extended into fall with a new batch of autumn dates.
These session are more than just an exercise class. They are designed like an outdoor adventure.
The events kick off with a guided group hike up Boyne Mountain and then a relaxing yoga session like no other, with participants using the resort’s SkyBridge as their outdoor yoga room.

The #ArthurHillsCourse was my favorite play at #BoyneHighlands resort during the #WiscoGolfAddict media #golftrip in August. The was the most resort-style setup we came across in the whole trip, with wide fairways, insane topography and an unusual par of 73. There were some incredible golf holes here, some of the best I’ve seen in Hills’ design portfolio. This roller coaster ride through the woods was unforgettable and is a must-play if you’re visiting northern Michigan.

It’s safe to say that boyne.golf shattered my expectations in our #WiscoGolfAddict #GolfTrip a couple weeks ago, as all seven courses we played were fantastic #golf experiences each in their own right.
Exhibit A, though, was boyne.mountain featuring two golf courses that play like ski runs. Starting at the summit of a towering hill with views for miles, each course spills downhill through adventurous, wooded terrain before meandering through a beautiful parkland setting to finish.
The #MonumentCourse, pictured here, features a collection of intimidating yet enjoyable holes with some of the wildest features I’ve seen all season. During morning photography, after seeing the course I thought I’d lose about 100 balls in the round to come, but to my delight I only lost a few and it was more playable and fun than I ever could’ve imagined.
The Mountain courses don’t get a lot of attention but they absolutely stack up well against the rest of Boyne’s golf offerings and are a worthy play on a trip to the area.
