There's a moment about halfway across SkyBridge Michigan where the bridge is at its lowest point in the sag.

You feel it sway. You look down through the slatted floor at the valley 118 feet below. You suddenly understand why they call it a "skybridge" instead of a "footbridge."

It isn't dangerous. It isn't technical. But your body knows. Your knees know. The grip you have on the railing — that's your nervous system telling you something.

Cross it once and you'll find an excuse to come back.

Dragon Gauntlet III 🐉⚔️✨

Three years of partnering with Rain & Revelry and this event just keeps getting better. At this point, coming back every year feels like a giant family reunion. Seeing so many familiar faces, watching this community grow, and getting to photograph it all again and again is seriously one of our favorite things.

The three year class photo felt extra special this year. 🥹 Three years of Dragon Gauntlet, three years of friendships, memories and watching this become such a huge part of our own journey with COFX photography.

There’s something pretty freaking cool about having an event like this right here in Northern Michigan at Boyne Mountain… costumes everywhere, fantasy taking over the mountain, and everyone crossing SkyBridge Michigan like it’s completely normal. 😂🐉

We’re so grateful to Rain & Revelry for continuing to bring us along for the ride, for bringing art and fun to our area and for being inclusive and thoughtful in every way. We already can’t wait for next year. 🤍
