In celebration of World Snow Day, Crystal Mountain is offering a variety of activities geared to introduce “first timers” to the great world of snow.

12pm – 4pm: View a Snow Gun and Groomer up close! Located on the slopes behind the Crystal Center. 1pm: Cross Country Presentation – Meet at the Cross Country Learning Center. Free to join! 2pm: Snowshoeing Presentation – Meet at Park at Water’s Edge. Free to join! 3pm: Adults & Kids Ski and Snowboard Presentation – Meet at the Learning Area outside the Mountain Adventure Zone. Free to join!

A lantern-lit ski and snowshoeing trek through some of Mackinac Island’s natural winter wonderland.
The trail begins at Greany Grove (corner of Arch Rock Road and Huron Road) with a bonfire and hot chocolate. The trail is groomed, track set, lit by lanterns and approximately two miles long.
This is a free event sponsored by Mackinac State Historic Parks, Mackinac Island Community Foundation and the Mackinac Island Ski Club.
