Went to boyne.mountain this past weekend for our 6 year anniversary and graduated from girlfriend to finance 💍 visited fishermen’s island and saw Lake Michigan, and also finally got to visit Petoskey! I’m bubbling with excitement about getting back on the cocodona250 course next week! Heat session two in preparation for the Sedona Canyons 125, mirroring last year’s heat training, as follows:
🥵: 18 minutes at 170 F in the sauna; 10 min break
🥵: 12 minutes at 170 F sauna; then straight into
🥵: 15 minutes at ~100 F soaking in the hot tub
It felt more bearable than it did Tuesday, which is a good sign. 45 minutes again but more sauna today.

Dropped off my half panel this morning for #knitthebridge event at the sky bridge at boyne.mountain I was a little disappointed that I only had time to complete a half panel but still proud of my work and excited to see it among all the other panels that will be adorning the sky bridge in June! The theme was Summer in Michigan, and one of my favorite parts of summer up here are the sunflower fields, and the sunflowers I grow in my garden!
A little over a year ago JJ met timhumphreys at Boyne Mountain Samuel Adams Air & Aprés. She was 2yrs old and that was the first time she'd ever seen skiers and snowboarders😂 he signed a poster for her and it read "Dream Big, JJ" flash-forward to winter season 23/24 at the mountain (and now 3 yo)JJ picked up snowboarding her first day out.
