This is what we call a great view. First snowfall of the season and we start with about 3 inches. Hoping the snow comes early and often and we have another great season here at Indianhead Mountain.
ABR Ski Trails – February 5, 2013
What a fun day with 6 inches of new snow and happy skiers. We had the mature adult group of the Elmhurst Ski Club here all day, 46 second graders this mid day and the local all ages Team Gogebic here at 4 PM for practice. Fun to see so many diverse groups…Tomorrow Wed 4 PM the Clydesdales Group!

The trails are in excellent shape! Groomer Stu has Ginzu groomed all the trails and tracks are freshly set. Come demo new skis or snowshoes for free all day! Fire Grilled Pizza on the sun deck is the lunch special, served piping hot and piled high with delicious cheese and toppings of your choice. What a perfect day to XC ski!!

☀️ Enjoying the 64 degree temps today, but winter is coming back Wednesday! Let’s keep the season going! We are open every day through March 22. Spring Carnival is March 21. The final weekend is scheduled for March 28, 29 depending on conditions.

This is the perfect time to hit the slopes! We had snowmaking on Monday/Tuesday, followed by 3″ of natural snow on Tuesday/Wednesday.

New Chairlift At Caberfae Peaks For the 2016-17 Ski Season
We are proud to announce the installation of highest chairlift in Northern Michigan! A brand new Doppelmayr, triple chair is currently being installed for the 2016/2017 season. The new chairlift will have a top elevation of 1561′ and will provide an incredible 360 degree view of the surrounding Manistee National Forest.
