Groomer report from Nordic Pulse:
Hello again all! Still grooming! Tonight I just dragged the skate deck and added in Mama Bear and the rest of Greenstone to the trails groomed the last few nights; Freshly groomed are Tiger, Valley, Cedar, Birch, Ed's, Greenstone, and Mama Bear. As usual; Expect late season Spring conditions and keep a look out for bare and thin spots. The start of Valley and start of Mama Bear both look MUCH worse than the rest of the trails - if you walk past the bare spots, the rest of the trail is in great shape. Intact but not freshly set tracks are on Valley, Ed's, Cedar, and a section of Greenstone up to Powderhouse. FROM Swedetown Trails >> Wednesday ski anyone? On April 29!? We might be one of the last trail systems still grooming in the US.
Notes from our head groomer: Good evening all! The snow is melting fast here on the trails, but we still have some for you to ski on! I took a snowmobile out this evening to groom Valley, Tiger, Cedar, Birch, and Ed's. Due to equipment issues I was only able to set fresh classic tracks on Valley and Ed's, but the others have had the skate lanes dragged. Ed's loop and Valley will likely retain a good base for the longest time this season, as usual. Please use caution on Birch, there are a couple bare spots, one on the long twisting downhill after Birch hill. FROM Swedetown Trails >> Our groomer was out again Saturday night, 4/25/2026 grooming up the ski trails. Groomer report:
Sunday skiers! This evening I took out the Husky and reset tracks and the skate lane on Pine Ridge, Valley, Tiger, Greenstone, Powderhouse, Ed's, Cedar, Birch and Tamarack. Spring conditions exist throughout all of the trails. There are bare spots forming and you will need to ski on grass or take off your skis.
With the low of 38F tonight I am not sure the track will set up overnight but am hopeful that by tilling in some cold snow, it will help, and there will be good skiing early in the morning. Express, Boyneland, Ramshead, and D8 will be running with approximately 250 acres and 40 trails open.
Sunday, April 12 (9am–4:30pm)
With some rain expected, D8 will be closed. Express, Boyneland, and Ramshead will continue operating with roughly 150 acres and 20 trails available.

We are going to keep up the momentum by grooming east side trails with the Piston Bully and freshening up the west side skate deck with the Tidd Tech tomorrow leaving existing classic tracks alone.
