Join us for a St. Patrick’s celebration where you can spot leprechauns across the slopes and witness our signature gravity-defying kayak race on the snow.

Lift Ticket Discount: Don’t get pinched! Wear your best Irish-themed gear and we’ll take $10 off your open-to-close window lift ticket.

11am – 2pm: Lodge Deck BBQ
Enjoy a traditional Irish dinner with braised corned beef, cabbage, roasted potatoes and carrots for only $14 per plate.

Kayaks On The Snow Race

9:30am – 10:45am: Kayaks on the Snow Registration
Day-of registration is required 15-minutes prior to the event starting (11am). All participants must be present at registration for a wristband. Registration located slopeside on the Lodge Patio. All participants are required to complete a waiver prior to the event, adults must sign for participants under 18 years old. All participants must have their own helmet and be at least 8 years old.

Equipment provided by Riverside Canoes, personal equipment is prohibited.

11am: Kayaks on the Snow Race
Held on the Cheers To Lou slope!

Noon – 4pm

  • Slopeside DJ: Playing your favorite hits at the Crystal Center Patio!
  • Leapin’ Leprechauns: Look for the Leprechauns out skiing on the slopes!
  • On-Slope Scavenger Hunt: Find a picture of a Shamrock scattered around the slopes. Bring one back to the Park at Water’s Edge for a prize!

As the snow melts and we officially close the lifts, we are feeling incredibly humbled and overwhelmingly grateful. From those deep, classic Lake Superior lake-effect powder days to the warm, slushy spring laps under bluebird skies, this season was one for the books—and it’s all because of YOU.
𝐓𝐨 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲: You are the absolute heartbeat of Marquette Mountain. Whether you were here for first chair every weekend, taking your very first lesson, or just hanging out at the Tbar swapping stories, your energy and stoke make this place magic. Thank you for showing up, sharing your smiles, and making this mountain your winter home. We love our ski family! ❤️🚠

To the snowmakers who worked through the freezing nights to lay down the base, the groomers who laid down fresh corduroy, the ski patrol who kept us safe, the lift ops who kept us moving, the instructors who passed on the passion, and the base area staff who kept us fueled and warm, and taught new skiers about gear—you are the unsung heroes of this mountain. Your hard work and dedication mean everything. 🍻🎿
We might be packing away our skis and boards for now, but the memories from this winter are going to keep us going until the flakes start flying again.

Voodoo mountain terrain expansion phase one starts at the end of April. Seven new runs are planned for next winter . The plan for next season is to raise the season pass by $5 on everyone and to include Snowcat skiing at Voodoo Mountain free for all season passholders. There would be a Lottery every day at 510pm to see who gets to go the next day . Snowcat sessions would be a morning and afternoon session . 8 MILLION vertical feet skied ….. The 8 millionth foot was reached on March 28, 2026 at Boyne mountain. By the numbers…… It took 67 ski areas over 41 years 3 months to achieve. 1267 races, 17111 runs, 11 pairs of skis, 7 pairs of boots, and countless hot chocolates and infinite number of smiles. Top speed on radar gun (twice) in downhill races…60mph. 28 years in Adult race league at Mt. Brighton. Noteworthy moments , Met us ski team members Daron Rahlves (12 World Cup wins) in 2026 and Bill Johnson (with 3 World Cup wins and Olympic gold medal) in 1989. The REAL HIGHLIGHTs were all the memories made with family and friends. Almost enough to last a lifetime.( more to be made!) Perspective : 8 million vertical feet if it were a single mountain skied, it would be 1515 miles tall.
