Clinic Itinerary

Saturday, January 11

8am: Check-in
8:30am: Welcome, “Trends in Ski Gear” presentation by Lisa Densmore
9am: Groups proceed to ski demo area
9:30am: On-hill skiing
11am: On-hill video
11:30am: Indoor video analysis
Noon: Lunch
Noon: Switch demo skis
1pm: On-hill skiing
2:30pm: On-hill video
3pm: Indoor video analysis
3:30pm: Return demo skis
5pm: Apres-ski “Boot Camp” panel, party & Cocktail Reception – Lisa moderates a panel with boot experts. Participants are encouraged to discuss boot fittings, technology, styling and performance.
7pm: Dinner with Lisa Densmore in the Wild Tomato Restaurant & Bar*
*Dinner with Lisa Densmore is optional and is not included in the program price.

Sunday, January 12

8:30am: Presentation: “Skiing Gates 101”
9am: Groups proceed to ski demo area
9:30am: On-hill skiing
11am: On-hill video
11:30am: Indoor video analysis
Noon: Lunch
Noon: Switch demo skis
1pm: On-hill skiing
2:30pm: On-hill video
3pm: Indoor video analysis
3:30pm: Return demo skis. Farewell apres-ski party, Poster-signing, Door prizes.

Boyne Highlands – Burton Party In Your Park Slopestyle Competition – January 11, 2014

Burton is throwing a party in the Challenger Terrain Park at Boyne Highlands Resort and we want you to be a part of the fun.  OK, it’s not actually a party, it’s a slopestyle competition open to snowboarders of all ages.  The slopestyle event is part of the “Burton, Party In Your Park” tour making stops at various resorts around the country.  Of course, there will be fabulous prizes for the top finishers supplied by Burton Snowboards and who knows, it might just turn into a party in the terrain park.

Entry Fee: FREE
Registration: 9 – 10:30am – Near the entrance to the cafeteria
Practice: 9am – 11am – Open practice session for all competitors
Rider’s Meeting: 11:20am – Top of slopestyle course
Event Start Time: 11:30am – Challenger Terrain Park
Awards: To take place in the Challenger Terrain Park approximately 30 minutes after the
competition
