Crystal Mountain’s Burton Learn to Ride Center (LTRC) is one of just six in the Midwest. Burton technology combined with a shared teaching philosophy, and commitment to terrain design help students progress their skills, making this the perfect place to get on a board.

Free Lessons
Winter Trails Day offers children and adults new to snow sports the chance to try cross country skiing for FREE, and to discover the great fitness and social benefits with this easy-to-learn winter sport. This free 1-hour clinic includes a lesson and rental equipment.
Time: Begins at 1pm. Clinic is 1-hour.

Grab the girls and hit the slopes! Crystal Mountain will be featuring a Women’s Ski Clinic led by Lisa Densmore, a widely acclaimed coach, instructor and ski racer, and assisted by Crystal Mountain’s top female instructors.

Saturday, January 10
8am: Check-in at Arctic Bay
8:30am: Welcome, “Trends in Ski Gear” presentation by Lisa Densmore
9am: Groups proceed to ski demo area

11:30am: Indoor video analysis
Noon: Lunch
Noon: Switch demo skis
1pm: On-hill skiing
2:30pm: On-hill video
3pm: Indoor video analysis
3:30pm: Return demo skis
5pm: Apres-ski “Boot Camp” panel, party & Cocktail Reception – Lisa moderates a panel with boot experts. Participants are encouraged to discuss boot fittings, technology, styling and performance.
7pm: Dinner with Lisa Densmore in the Thistle Pub & Grille*
