Hotel Walloon offers all the modern amenities of today with the charm of the past. We have complimentary valet service, complimentary concierge service, food service four times daily, private beach and patio, billiards room, fitness room and outdoor heated spa. Hotel Walloon also has a cash bar in the lobby which is a great place for your guests to gather in the evening.
The Village of Walloon has two restaurants - Barrel Back, our casual restaurant, and the Walloon Lake Inn, a fine dining restaurant. Both overlook beautiful Walloon Lake.
Centrally located between Petoskey, Boyne City, Charlevoix, Traverse City and Mackinaw City, Hotel Walloon is the perfect “home away from home” to enjoy all the adventure Northern Michigan has to offer.

They met at 17 and never really left each other's side.
Logan makes everyone laugh before they realize how much she's quietly looking out for them.
Samuel shows love through work — running his own restaurant, showing up for everyone, still the funniest person in the room.
Friends first. Then prom — not even as each other's dates, just Samuel finding a reason to talk to her before the night began.
High school. GVSU. Months apart during COVID that somehow made it stronger. They never stopped choosing each other.
May 23, 2024: dinner, a walk on the Petoskey pier, and a plan to propose at their first-kiss spot.
Except it was suddenly very crowded — a trash pickup crew, a book club, and a yogi mid-headstand.
So they found a quiet trail to the beach instead, and Logan's response to him kneeling was simple: "Can you say yes so I can stop kneeling on these rocks?"
Their wedding day felt just as easy — simple, classy, and lakeside, with the Talcott's twinkle-lit patio setting the scene for family, friends, and a lot of laughter.
Logan & Samuel have been each other's person since they were teenagers.
This is just where the story keeps going.
