Discover Michigan SkiingDuring January, ski areas across the state teamed up with Michigan McDonald’s restaurants to offer an affordable introduction to the sport of skiing and snowboarding.

Discover Michigan Skiing includes a beginner lesson, ski or snowboard rental equipment and a beginner-area ski lift pass or cross-country trail pass.

Fees

  • Cross-country Skiing = $20
  • Downhill Skiing or Snowboarding = $35

Nub's Nob Ski Area
- OPENING ANNOUNCEMENT -

Nub’s will be opening this Saturday and Sunday!
Smooth Sailing, Sno Pro, Smokey, Big Time, Easy Mile, Fun Bowl and the Cat Track will be ready to go. All 21K of our XC trail system will also be packed and in early season condition. Give the Snow Crew a high five when you see them, they have been full throttle turning the place from green to white.

The Green and Purple Lifts will spin from 9:00 am until 4:30 pm, while the Cafeteria, Nub's Cubs Daycare, Winter Sports School, Rental, Nub's Pub, the Tune Center and the General Store will all be open. Early season rates are: $40 for Adults, Teens & Seniors, $30 for kids 9-12 (kids 8 & Under with a skiing adult and 70+ tickets are free everyday).
