I was hiking the trails at the end of July and had numerous trees down on the trails. Our DNR friends have cleared those trees and it looks great! I ran the grooming snowmobile last week and the chainsaw is ready! Still hoping to get the backslide area flattened out this year. Hope that your summer is going well! Get outdoors!! ... Solid but icey hardpack with a little fresh snow on top.

We took a chance and drove up yesterday. The conditions were great. We skied for almost 5 hours. It was a beautiful day with lots of sunshine. It was so warm I ended up skiing with just a lightweight fleece top and no jacket.

Does this mean the surface is hard and icy? Or that is difficult / hard to ski on?

Lovely spring like skiing today. Thanks. For the beautiful day!
